How Arture collects, uses and protects your personal data — what we gather, why we gather it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. Drawn as plainly as we can.
This Privacy Policy explains how Arture ("Arture", "the Studio", "we", "us") handles the personal data of anyone ("you") who visits this website, contacts us, or engages our services.
We collect as little as we can, use it only for the purposes described here, and never sell it. By using this website or sharing your details with us, you accept the practices set out below.
Who we are & this policy
Arture is an independent brand & motion studio based in Amman, Jordan. For the purposes of data protection law, Arture is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
This policy covers this website and any direct interaction you have with us — enquiries, proposals, engagements and the everyday running of a project. Where a separate agreement says something different about a specific dataset, that agreement applies to that data.
The data we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you and deliver our work. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:
- Identity & contact data. Your name, company, role, email address, phone number and anything you choose to include in a message to us.
- Project data. Briefs, files, feedback and correspondence shared with us during an engagement.
- Billing data. Billing address, tax details and payment references needed to invoice you. We do not store full card numbers.
- Technical data. IP address, browser and device type, and basic analytics about how this website is used.
We do not seek to collect special-category data, and ask that you do not share it with us unless it is genuinely necessary for a project.
How we use your data
We use personal data to:
- Respond to enquiries and prepare proposals and quotes.
- Deliver, manage and invoice the work you engage us for.
- Communicate with you about a live project or our relationship.
- Maintain our records and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- Understand and improve how this website performs.
We will only send you marketing if you have asked us to, and you can opt out at any time.
Our legal basis for processing
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following: your consent (for example, optional analytics or marketing); the performance of a contract with you; our legitimate interests in running and promoting the studio in a measured way; and compliance with a legal obligation.
Where we rely on consent, you are free to withdraw it at any time without affecting processing that has already taken place.

This website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies keep the site working; optional analytics cookies help us understand which pages are useful, in aggregate and without identifying you personally.

Sharing & service providers
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary, with:
- Trusted processors — hosting, email, file storage, analytics and accounting providers who act on our instructions under contract.
- Project collaborators — freelancers or partners working on your project, bound by confidentiality.
- Authorities — where we are required to disclose data by law or to protect our rights.
Every processor we use is chosen for its security and held to obligations consistent with this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Project and billing records are typically retained for the period required by Jordanian tax and commercial law; enquiry data that does not become a project is kept for a shorter period and then deleted.
Keeping your data secure
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access — including access controls, encryption in transit, and trusted, secured providers. No system is ever completely secure, but we work to keep risk low and to act quickly if something goes wrong.
International transfers
Some of the providers we rely on may store or process data outside Jordan. Where that happens, we take steps to ensure your data continues to be protected to a standard consistent with this policy and applicable law, through appropriate safeguards and contractual commitments.
Your rights over your data
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete your data where there is no overriding reason for us to keep it.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, including marketing.
- Withdraw consent where our processing relies on it.

Children's privacy
This website and our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practice or the law. The current version is always published on this page with its effective date. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to make them visible.
